Propane Generator Installation in Tampa & Hillsborough County, FL
A generator that runs on a propane tank.
A propane generator needs a fuel tank. HomeGuide says the tank adds to the cost, and propane costs more to run than natural gas.
Ask who sets the tank and who fills it. Ask how long a tank lasts at the generator size you pick.
The tank and the generator both have distance and clearance rules. Ask the contractor to follow your local code and the maker's manual.
